New COVID-19 cases 1,594: DOH

The Department of Health (DOH) said Thursday new coronavirus disease (COVID-19) cases reached 1,594, bringing total cases to 389, 725.
Active cases are 32, 773 of which 83 percent are mild, said DOH. However, 4.4 percent are critical cases and 2.5 percent severe.
Manila topped the list of provinces and cities with new cases with 253 followed by Cavite, 126. Davao City and Rizal are third with 78 and Quezon City fifth with 73.
Forty-two persons died from COVID-19, resulting in total recoveries of 349, 543.
There were 1,594 persons who overcame COVID-19, which raised total recoveries to 32, 773. DMS
