New COVID-19 cases at 2,025: DOH

New coronavirus disease ( COVID-19) cases fell below 3,000, the Department of Health ( DOH) said Tuesday.
The DOH reported 2,025 new COVID-19 cases, bringing total cases to 309, 303. Active cases are 50, 925 out of which 86.5 percent are mild.
Asymptomatic cases account for 8.8 percent of the active cases followed by 3.3 percent for critical cases and 1.4 percent for severe.
Sixty-eight persons died from COVID-19, with 26 coming from the National Capital Region. This brought toytal COVID-19 fatalities to 5, 448.
There were 290 persons who survived COVID-19, raising total recoveries to 252, 930. DMS
