New COVID-19 cases at 3, 314; total at 164, 474

The Department of Health (DOH) reported 3, 314 new coronavirus disease (COVID-19) cases on Monday, bringing the total to 164,474.
Active cases are 49,034 of which 91.1 percent are mild, asymptomatic 6.5 percent, critical 1.4 percent and severe 1 percent.
The National Capital Region continued to be the highest source of new COVID-19 cases with 1,918 followed by Laguna 274, Cavite, 219, Rizal 118 and Bulacan 105.
President Rodrigo Duterte is to announce Monday night if these five areas, currently under modified enhanced quarantine, will remain at the same quarantine classification.
There were 18 persons who died from COVID-19, bringing total deaths to 2681 while 237 persons survived, raising total recoveries to 112, 759. DMS
