New COVID-19 cases at 7,777; recoveries near 1,000

For the second day, the number of recovered patients from the coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19) equalled the second highest mark even as 198 new cases were reported by the Department of Health, raising the total to 7,777 on Monday.
With 70 recoveries, the total is now 932. This is the second highest since 82 was recorded on April 16.
There were 10 deaths announced by the DOH, raising the total to 511.
The Philippines entered its seventh week of the enhanced community quarantine which was announced by President Rodrigo Duterte on March 17. DMS
