New COVID-19 cases at two-month high of 2,178

New coronavirus disease (COVID-19) cases soared to a two-month high of 2,178, bringing total cases to 509, 887, the Department of Health (DOH) said Friday.
Twenty persons died, placing total deaths to 10, 136.
For the second day, Quezon City reported the highest COVID-19 cases in the country with 148 followed by Bulacan with 88.
There were 250 persons who got well from COVID-19, raising total recoveries at 467, 720. DMS
