New COVID-19 cases below 2,000 for fourth day

Less than 2,000 new coronavirus disease (COVID-19) patients were reported by the Department of Health (DOH) for the fourth straight day on Friday.
But over 130 persons died from COVID-19, bringing total deaths to 6,915, the DOH added.
DOH reported 1,923 new COVID-19 cases , which brings total cases to 365,799. Active cases are 46,193 of which 83.6 percent were mild, 11.3 percent asymptomatic, 3.2 percent critical and 1.8 percent severe.
Of the newly-reported cases, Davao City is the highest with 99, Cavite and Manila 94 and Quezon City 92.

The number of COVID-19 survivors has reached a total of 312,691. DMS
