New COVID-19 cases below 2,000 for third day

New coronavirus disease cases fell below 2,000 for the third day as the Department of Health (DOH) reported 1,664 cases on Thursday.
Total COVID-19 cases are at 363,888 of which 44, 772 were active. Out of the active cases, 83.6 percent are mild, 11.2 percent asymptomatic, 3.3 percent critical and 1.9 percent severe, DOH said.
Top provinces and cities are led by Cavite with 81, Malabon and Davao City 76, Iloilo City 75 and Quezon City 69.
The top regions with cases in the last 14 days were NCR 438, Calabarzon 235 and Western Visayas 170.
Thirty-eight persons died from COVID-19, bringing total deaths to 6,783.
There were 843 persons bounced back from COVID, raising total recoveries to 312, 333. DMS
