New COVID-19 cases now 30, 682

The Department of Health ( DOH) reported Monday that there were 630 new cases of the coronavirus disease ( COVID-19), bringing the total to 30,682.

Fresh cases, which are results released in the last three days, reached 467, with the biggest coming Central Visayas with 164 followed by 153 in other regions. The National Capitol Region accounted for 149.

Late cases, which are test results released to patients four days ago, amounted to 163. Ninety three came from Central Visayas followed by other region with 45 and 25 from the National Capitol Region.

There were eight deaths, raising the total to 1,177. Recoveries reached 250, bringing the total to 8,143.

As of June 21, having the most accrued COVID-19 cases is the National Capital Region with 15,098; followed by Central Visayas with 5,667; Calabarzon with 2,168; Central Luzon with 772; and Davao Region with 446.

Among provinces and cities, the highest total COVID-19 cases are Cebu City with 3,733; followed by Quezon City with 2,896; Manila City with 1,861; Cebu Province with 900; and Caloocan City with 830.

Over the last 14 days, the most cases were in Metro Manila with 2,290; Central Visayas with 2,030; Eastern Visayas with 230; Calabarzon with 221; and Davao Region with 69.

Among provinces and cities, having the most COVID-19 cases over the last 14 days are Cebu City with 1,277; Cebu Province with 329; Quezon City with 245; Manila City with 235; and Mandaue City with 167. DMS
