New COVID-19 cases reach 1,524

New coronavirus disease (COVID-19) cases reached 1,524 as 16 laboratories were not able to submit data, the Department of Health (DOH) said Tuesday.
Total COVID-19 cases are 373,144 of which active cases account for 10 percent or 37, 489, the DOH said.
Out of the active cases, 82.8 percent are mild, 11 percent asymptomatic, four percent critical and 2.2 percent severe.
Provinces and cities which saw high COVID-19 cases were led by Negros Occidental 115, Cavite 76, Benguet 72, Quezon City 67 and Laguna 65.
There were 14 persons who died from COVID-19, bringing total deaths to 7,053, DOH said.
DOH added that 353 persons rebounded from COVID-19, raising total recoveries to 328, 602. DMS
