New COVID-19 cases reach 1,761

The Department of Health (DOH) reported 1,761 new coronavirus disease (COVID-19) cases on Thursday, which raised total cases to 376, 935.
Provinces and cities with the highest number of new cases were led by Quezon City, 85; Rizal 74, Caloocan City 73, Davao City 70, and Laguna 69.
Thirty-three patients died from COVID-19, which brought total fatalities to
7,147.
There were 740 persons who overcame COVID-19, placing total recoveries to 329,848.
This means 87.5 percent of the COVID-19 patients have been able to recover, DOH said. DMS
