New COVID-19 cases reach 4,686

The Department of Health (DOH) Monday reported 4,686 new COVID-19 cases on Monday bringing total cases to 194, 252.
This, therefore, brings the total number of COVID-19 cases in the country to 194,252. Active cases reached 59, 200 of which mild cases are 91.5 percent, asymptomatic 6.1 percent, severe 1 percent and critical 1.4 percent.
Majority of the new cases came from the National Capital Region (NCR) with 2,519.
There were 13 persons who died from COVID-19, the DOH said. Total deaths are now at 3,010. The NCR accounted for eight deaths, followed by Calabarzon 2. Bicol. Central Visayas and Davao reported one death each.
The DOH said 729 patients survived COVID-19 putting total recoveries to 132, 042. DMS
