New COVID-19 cases surpass 3,000; no deaths in NCR

New coronavirus disease ( COVID-19) cases rose past 3,000 on while no deaths were registered in the National Capital Region (NCR) on Monday, the Department of Health said.
The DOH said 3,564 new COVID-19 cases were reported, bringing total cases to 342, 816. It added that active cases are 43,332 out of which 83.9 percent were mild,10.8 percent asymptomatic, 3.6 percent critical and 1.7 percent severe.
No COVID-19 deaths in NCR were disclosed among the 11 fatalities the DOH reported. Davao accounted for four deaths, three from Calabarzon, two from Ilocos. and one each from Northern Mindanao and Caraga regions.
The DOH said 150 persons recovered from COVID-19, which placed total recoveries at 293, 152. DMS
