Newly-reported cases below 2,000: DOH

Less than 2,000 new coronavirus disease (COVID-19) cases were reported by the Department of Health (DOH) Tuesday even as 17 laboratories were not able to submit data.
Newly-reported cases reached 1,996 which brought total cases of 344, 173. Active cases were 44,958 of which 84.2 percent were mild, asymptomatic 10.6 percent, critical 3.4 percent and 1.7 percent.
Forty deaths were reported by the DOH, bringing total fatalities to 6,372.
There were 327 persons who rebounded from COVID-19, which raised total recoveries to 293, 383. DMS
