No deaths, but total COVID-19 cases at 51,754

No deaths were recorded from the coronavirus disease(COVID-19) on Thursday, even as daily new cases fell from a record high the previous day, the Department of Health ( DOH) said.

New cases reached 1,395, raising the total number of cases to 51, 754. Active cases are 37,627.

Out of the fresh cases of 1,184, other regions accounted for 484, followed by the National Capitol Region's 390 and Central Visayas' 243.

Late cases, which reached 211, came from other regions with 108, NCR 53, Central Visayas 47 and repatriates 3.

Recoveries rose to 12,813 after 225 patients survived the virus. DMS
