Non-uniformed personnel dies from COVID-19, PNP deaths now 26

A 62 year-old non-uniformed personnel died from COVID-19. bringing their total fatalities in the Philippine National Police (PNP) to 26.
The name was not revealed but the PNP said the non-uniformed personnel was assigned at the Criminal Investigation and Detection Group's National Capital Region office.
The PNP said there were 20 new cases, bringing the total to 7, 892 with 396 active cases.
Of the new cases, six infections were recorded in National Operational Support Unit, four in the National Capital Region Police Office (NCRPO), two in Calabarzon, Eastern Visayas, Zamboanga, and Cordillera and one each in Ilocos and Central Luzon.
Nine recoveries were also recorded, bringing the total number of personnel who overcame the virus to 7, 470. Ella Dionisio/DMS
