One cop killed, 6 hurt in alleged NPA ambush in Camarines Norte

A policeman was killed and six cops were wounded after they were ambushed by suspected New People's Army (NPA) rebels in Labo, Camarines Norte Saturday.
Dead on the spot was Police Officer 2 Richard Abad, a member of the Provincial Mobile Force Company (PMFC).
PO2s Ronald Gutierrez, Erickson de Vera, PO1s Jeffrey Tarrobago, Pedro Valeros, Romar Umandap and Johnson Espana were injured.
Senior Superintendent Cerilo Trilles Jr., the Camarines Norte police director, said in his report the incident took place at around 1 a.m. in Barangay Daguit. DMS
