Only one positive COVID-19 case in Baguio

BAGUIO CITY -- The Summer Capital of the Philippines has only one positive case of coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19) and is from a 41-year-old police officer who came from the National Capital Region.
Major Rafael Baldado Roxas, 41, deputy chief of the fingerprint division of the PNP Crime Laboratory at the PNP National Headquarters in Camp Crame, Quezon City, apparently was infected at the NCR and managed to enter this city.
Now confined at the Baguio General Hospital and Medical Center, Baguio authorities are investigating Roxas for probable protocol violations.
Of the 31 confirmed cases in Baguio City, twenty-nine have recovered .There is only one recorded death.
As of Friday afternoon, there are 185 suspect cases and 627 possible cases are being monitored. DMS
