Over 480K nabbed for violating ordinances in Metro Manila – NCRPO

The National Capital Region Police Office on Sunday said around 480,000 were arrested for violating local ordinances in the span of five months.
Report from NCRPO showed that from June 13 to November 11, a total of 482,953 were nabbed for not following local laws.
Of this figure, only 10 were still under custody as of Sunday.
A total of 327,921 were verbally reprimanded, 91,958 were fined and 63,074 faced complaints, NCRPO said.
The number of highest violators was recorded in Quezon City at 283,139.
NCRPO said the most violated ordinance was the smoking ban in public places at 28.31 percent or with 136,708 violators.
