P36m worth of illegal drugs seized from three women in Cavite

Around P36 million worth of illegal drugs were confiscated from three alleged female high-value targets during a buy-bust operation in Bacoor City, Cavite last Monday evening.
Brig. Gen Ronnie Montejo, Quezon City Police District (QCPD) director, said combined elements from QCPD, Calabarzon police and Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency (PDEA) conducted a buy-bust operation around 10:45 pm at Barangay Molino III.
Montejo said an undercover cop posed as a buyer and bought P245,000 worth of shabu from the suspects which resulted in their arrest.
Arrested were Anabel Natividad, 52; Teresita Daan, 52; and Riza Aguiton, 43. However, one of their cohort resisted arrest, ran and was able to ride his motorcycle and escaped.
Confiscated were five kilograms of suspected shabu amounting to P36,040,000 and the suspects' vehicle.
