May 26, 2020

The chief of the Philippine National Police (PNP) on Tuesday said  anti-illegal drugs operations continue to intensify amid their coronavirus disease (COVID-19) response activities after P40 million worth of illegal drugs were seized in separate raids  in Bohol province.

“Even with the ongoing health crisis, police anti-illegal drugs operations will continue without let-up and will be unrelenting as ever,” Gamboa said.

According to reports from the Central Visayas police, a buy-bust operation was launched around 3:30 on Monday in Talibon, Bohol which resulted in the arrest of drug suspect Jamie Dajao, 44, and confiscation four kilograms of suspected shabu worth P27 million.

Confiscated from them were two kilograms of suspected shabu amounting to P13 million.
