P88 million of suspected illegal drugs seized in Cavite

Authorities confiscated around P88 million worth of suspected illegal drugs in Cavite last Sunday.
Philippine National Police chief General Camilo Cascolan said Monday three suspects were arrested in separate buy-bust operations in Bacoor City.
Cascolan said confiscated from the suspects were 13 kilograms of suspected shabu worth P88.4 million.
Police report said the first two suspects were arrested in a buy-bust operation in Barangay Molino 2 on Sunday morning. Confiscated from them were P34 million worth of illegal drugs.
“I am pleased to announce the arrest of two high-value targets who are considered main players in trafficking of illegal drugs in the Cavite and southern Metro Manila area,’ Cascolan said.
In a follow-up operation, another suspect was arrested in Barangay Mambog 2 where operatives seized P54.4 million worth of illegal drugs.
