Palace cautions court vs “fixer” husband of presidential son ex-wife
May 21, 2018
Malacanang on Monday warned the public against a court "fixer" who is a husband of a former wife of President Rodrigo Duterte's son.
"Now we are also warning the public, including judges and justices, it's circulating around that a husband of an ex-wife of presidential son, is using the name of the President's grandchild to fix cases," Presidential Spokesperson Harry Roque said in a press briefing.
Roque did not mention any name but he said there is only one presidential son who has an ex-wife. He was apparently referring to RJ Sumera, husband of Lovelie Sangkola Sumera, former wife of ex-Davao City Vice Mayor Paolo Duterte.
Paolo has three children with Lovelie.
Roque said the officials from the judiciary should be careful of this person as he is not related to the President.
"So we ask the justices and the judges, report it to Malacañang. Don’t work with him because he has no authority, it’s shameful, he’s not really related to the President and the President does not consent this kind of things," he added. Ella Dionisio/DMS
