Malacañang has extended its sympathies to the family of former Commission on Elections chairman Sixto Brillantes Jr. who passed away on Tuesday at the age of 80.
"We condole with the family of Chair Brillantes," said Presidential Spokesperson Harry Roque in a press briefing from Davao City.
"He served the nation well when he was chairman of Comelec," he added.
