Palace cuts work in executive branch for Kainang Pampamilya Mahalaga Day

Malacanang has issued a memorandum circular suspending the work in government offices under the executive branch from 3:30 p.m. onwards on Monday, September 28.
Executive Secretary Salvador Medialdea issued MC No. 80 pursuant to Proclamation No. 60 (s. 1992), which declared the last week of September of every year as Family Week and in order to afford government workers and their families time to celebrate, in their respective homes, the Kainang Pampamilya Mahalaga Day purusant to Proclamation No. 326 (s. 2012).
However, he said those agencies whose functions involve the delivery of basic and health services, preparedness/response to disasters and calamities, and/or the performance of other vital services shall continue with their operations and render the necessary servinces.
The Palace urged other branches of government, independent commissions or bodies, and the private sector to suspend work also so as to afford all Filipino Families the full opportunity to celebrate the Kainang Pamilya Mahalaga Day.
