PCG brings ailing ship captain to hospital in Batangas City

The Philippine Coast Guard (PCG) brought the 67-year-old captain of a cargo vessel in Batangas City last Saturday, the PCG reported on Monday.
Based on an initial report, the PCG conducted medical evacuation to help the captain whose ship is anchored at Delta Anchorage Area in Batangas City
The PCG said the captain is a resident of Cebu City.
He had been suffering from severe cough and fever for several days, and had a history of pneumonia when he was rescued by the PCG.
