PCSO board secretary shot dead in Mandaluyong

Wesley Barayuga, the board secretary of the Philippine Charity Sweepstakes Office (PCSO) was shot dead by an unidentified assailant in Mandaluyong City Thursday afternoon.
In a radio interview, Col. Hector Grajaldo, Mandaluyong police chief, said Barayuga was going home around 4:35 pm when a suspect on board a motorcycle appeared and shot the victim.
“( It's) Possible that he came from their office and was already going home when the suspect tailed him,” he said.
Grajaldo said they brought Barayuga's driver to the hospital.
Based on the evidence in the crime scene, Grajaldo said the suspect used a caliber .45. He said police got a copy of CCTV footage in the area.
Investigation is ongoing to determine the motive and identify the suspect. Ella Dionisio/DMS
