PGH to resume face-to-face clinical internship program
October 30, 2020
The state-run Philippine General Hospital will resume its face-to-face clinical internship program amid the coronavirus pandemic, Malacanang said on Friday.
Presidential Spokesperson Harry Roque, in a statement, said the Inter-Agency Task Force for the Management of Emerging Infectious Diseases has given the go signal during a meeting on Thursday, October 29.
"The IATF approved the resumption of the face-to-face clinical internship program of the University of the Philippines College of Medicine. The Philippine General Hospital will conduct this face-to-face program," he said.
The government has suspended since March the face-to-face classes and internship program in various colleges and universities to prevent the spread of COVID-19. Celerina Monte/DMS
