Philippine death toll due to COVID-19 up to 107

The Philippine death toll due to coronavirus disease has breached 100 level as more confirmed cases have been reported, the Department of Health said.
As of 4pm Thursday, the number of those who died rose to 107 from the 96 death toll as of Wednesday afternoon.
Meanwhile, 322 new COVID-19 cases were reported bringing the total cases to 2,633.
The total number of recoveries has increased to 51 after one patient recovered.
The government has been implementing enhanced community quarantine in Luzon, including Metro Manila, while the other local government units in other areas have been enforcing also their own quarantine to restrict movement of the people to prevent further spread of the virus. Celerina Monte/DMS
