Philippines eyeing to vaccinate 50 to 70 million vs COVID-19 this year

The Philippines is eyeing to vaccinate 50 to 70 million Filipinos against COVID-19 this year as the main bulk of vaccines will be rolled out in the third or fourth quarter.
This was announced by vaccine czar Secretary Carlito Galvez Jr in a Senate hearing on Monday.
Galvez said the Philippines will receive 148 million doses of COVID-19 vaccines.
''We are now in the peak of negotiations for procurement process of COVID-19 vaccines,'' he said. DMS
