PNP death toll from coronavirus rises to 12

The number of police officers who died due to coronavirus disease (COVID-19) is now at 12, according to the Philippine National Police.
This was after a 49-year old policewoman passed away last August 4.
The total number of cops infected with the virus is now at 2,459 with 1, 494 recoveries.
Twenty of the new patients are assigned in Metro Manila, three from Calabarzon and two from the operations support unit.
