PNP ”honorable”; there can only be some “bad apples,” Palace says on cops charged for killing teenager

The Philippine National Police is still composed of "honorable' men, Malacañang said on Tuesday.
Presidential Spokesperson Harry Roque issued the statement after two policemen have been charged for the death of a 15-year-old girl in Ilocos Sur. The two cops would also face rape case.
"The PNP is honorable by and large, they are professional," he said in a virtual press briefing when asked on the case of the two cops who were also ordered dismissed by the PNP leadership.
But he acknowledged that it is possiblethere are also a few cops who are "bad apples."
