The chief of the Philippine National Police (PNP) has ordered reassignment in top posts after the director of National Police Training Institute (NPTI) retired on Friday.
In a General Order dated August 26, Police General Archie Gamboa has appointed Police Brigadier General Alfred Corpus as the new NPTI director, replacing Police Major General Ramon Rafael.
Corpus was director of the Integrated for Police Operations – Western Mindanao and was replaced by Police Brig. General Ferdinand Daway from PNP Finance Service.
Also, Police Brig. General Herminio Tadeo Jr will be the director of the PNP Finance Service after his six month-stint as the PNP Health Service director.
He assumed his post as PNPHS director last February 2020.
Tadeo is replaced by Police Col. Arthur Cabalona as the acting director of PNPHS who was previously assigned at the Directorate for Comptrollership.
Police Col. Arcadio Jamora Jr. from Explosive Ordnance Division/K9 is now the Acting Executive Officer of DIPO-Northern Luzon.
Last August 26, Gamboa also has ordered the latest reorganization in the leadership of the National Capital Region Police Office (NCRPO) and minor revamp in Camp Crame-based units. Ella Dionisio/DMS
