Police, anti-drug agents seize P1.1 kilos of shabu worth nearly P8 million

Police and anti-illegal drug operatives arrested an alleged drug pusher active in Metro Manila and seized a total of 1.1 kilos of suspected shabu worth nearly eight million pesos  in a buy-bust operation early Tuesday in Diliman, Quezon City.

Arrested was Bryan Dudley, 24,  at 3:30 am along University St., corner Commonwealth Avenue, Barangay San Vicente, UP Diliman.

He was arrested by elements of the Regional Drug Enforcement Unit (RDEU) of the National Capitol Region Police Office (NCRPO), NCR agents of the Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency and the Anonas Police Station.

Dudley was apprehended while selling 500 grams of suspected shabu to an undercover agent and another six plastic packs of suspected shabu weighting 600 grams were found in his possession.

A total of 1.1 kg of shabu with street value of  P7.48 million with the bundle marked money equivalent to P400, 000 were confiscated from him.

Dudley is responsible in drug trafficking activities operating in the areas of Pasay City, Manila and nearby cities of Metro Manila, the NCRPO said.

He was arrested last April 8, 2016, by the elements of Pasay City Police Station in a buy -ust operation and was charged for Section 5 and 11 of R.A. 9165 known as The Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002, but was acquitted by the court ands released last July 2, 2018.

Dudley and the seized evidence were brought to the Crime Laboratory Office for examination and drug test.

Cases for violating the same offense are being prepared for filing in court against Dudley while follow-up operation is being done by RDEU operatives to arrest his main supplier. DMS
