Police and anti-illegal drug operatives dismantled an alleged drug den in Muntinlupa on Tuesday.
In a report, elements of the Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency (PDEA) outhern district office and the Muntinlupa police arrested seven persons, including the leader of the drug group, in an unnumbered house inside 328 Alley Purok, Barangay Sucat, as they implemented a search warrant from the Quezon City Regional Trial Court.
Arrested were Cristina Lopena, who allegedly maintained the drug den and leader of the Lopena Drug Group, Marlon Macatuggal, Dandrian Alvarez, Mark Gil Patriarca, Rejay Lazaga, Michael Lopena and Virgilio Valdrias.
Analyn Lopena and Christine Joy Lopena, who were covered by the search warrant escaped.
Confiscated were 22 pieces of plastic sachets containing suspected shabu weighing around 30 grams estimated at P204,000 on Dangerous Drugs Board value, 12 pieces plastic bags of suspected dried marijuana leaves weighing around 00 grams worth P12,000 per Dangerous Drugs Board value, assorted drug paraphernalia; and one cal.38 revolver
Arrested suspects and confiscated pieces of evidence were brought to PDEA NCR office for investigation, documentation and proper disposition. Cases for violating the Dangerous Drug Act and illegal possession of firearms) are being readied for filing against the suspects. DMS
