Police arrest NPA member in Bulacan

A New People’s Army (NPA) member listed as one of the most wanted criminal in Negros Occidental was arrested by the Criminal Investigation and Detection Group (CIDG) in Bulacan last Tuesday.

Fernando Quirante alyas Ka Bert was collared by the CIDG at the vicinity of Brgy. Bahay Pari, Meycauayan City, Bulacan around 7:40 am.

The CIDG said Quirante is a member of the “NPA Kominteng Rehiyon Negros-Leonardo Panligan Command.”

According to CIDG, Quirante “is wanted for multiple murder and listed as number one most wanted person in Victorias City, Negros Occidental.” Robina Asido/DMS
