Police arrest opinion writer in Cagayan de Oro

Policemen arrested a a Davao City-based opinion writer at the Laguindingan Airport in Laguindingan, Misamis Oriental Sunday.
Cops from the Zamboanga regional Criminal Investigation and Detection Group (CIDG) arrested Fidelina Margarita Valle, 60, at around 10:30 a.m., according to an initial police report.
Valle has two arrest warrants of arrest, police said.
The first is for multiple murder with quadruple frustrated murder and damage to property issued vby Regional Trial Court 10th Judicial Region Branch 36 Judge Bernadette Paredes-Encinareal. No bail was recommended.
The other arrest warrant is for arson issued by RTC 9th Judicial Region Branch 20 Judge Aniceto Galon Jr. with the bail set at P24,000.
The National Union of Journalists in the Philippines (NUJP) said Valle is a columnist of SunStar and Davao Today
NUJP said Valle was in Cagayan de Oro for a writing workshop for the Rural Missionaries of the Philippines.
Her son Rius, said Valle was about to board the plane to Davao when the arrest happened.
"We have now lost all communications with her," he said in a Facebook post.
Valle was freed later Sunday after a witness ''averred that the suspect has major resemblance but it is not the actual suspect who the subject of the warrant'', police said.
''Upon the revelation of the witness, suspect identified as Fidelina Margarati Valle y Avellanosa was subjected for release after the conduct of medical examination and proper documentation. DMS
