Police arrest two Chinese for allegedly operating clandestine hospital in Pampanga

Two Chinese who allegedly operated a clandestine hospital treating
their compatriots infected with COVID-19 at the Clark Freeport Zone in Pampanga were arrested by policemen on Tuesday.
Hu Shiling and Liu Wei were apprehended by agents of the Criminal Investigation and Detection Group (CIDG) at the Fontana Villa in Mabalacat City at 12:30 p.m.
Brig. Gen. Rhoderick Armamento, CIDG deputy director for administration, said the two Chinese were arrested based on a warrant for violating Republic Act 10918 or the Philippine Pharmacy Act.
“The Chinese nationals are involved in the Chinese hospital and pharmaceutical store operating illegally inside the Clark Economic Zone,” Armamento said.
Policemen raided the hospital last May following reports the medical facility is treating Chinese nationals who contracted COVID-19. DMS
