Police commandos sent to implement ECQ in Cebu return
August 14, 2020
More than a hundred Philippine National Police - Special Action Force (PNP - SAF) members returned in Manila from Cebu City on Thursday.
According to the Philippine Coast Guard (PCG) the 106 police commandos which were deployed in Cebu on June 26 were transported back to Manila by BRP Gabriela Silang.
The members of PNP-SAF supported the implementation of the Enhanced Community Quarantine(ECQ) in Cebu City for around seven weeks.
PCG said although all the PNP-SAF personnel from Cebu were healthy and safe, they will still have to undergo quarantine before they can return to their families. Robina Asido/DMS
