Police officer shot by suspect in Negros Oriental

A police staff sergeant was shot by an unidentified suspect in Negros Oriental last Thursday evening.
According to Police Chief Master Sergeant Edilberto Euraoba III, Negros Oriental police spokesperson, Bobster Guillarawan, 33, was onboard his motorcycle when he was shot by suspects around 11:30pm at Barangay 1, Siaton municipality.
Guillarawan was formerly assigned in Bayawan City police station prior to his assignment in the Provincial Mobile Force Company.
Euraoba said Guillarawan was followed by the suspect while he was travelling from Barangay Mantuyop to Poblacion area.
Guillarawan sustained three gunshot wounds in his back and face. He was brought to the hospital but was declared dead-on-arrival by a doctor.
