July 1, 2017
A man tagged in the massacre of five people, including three children, in San Jose del Monte City, Bulacan last Tuesday has tested negative for illegal drug use. "The result of the drug tests on Ibanes was negative," said Chief Superintendent Aaron Aquino, Central Luzon police director, said in a TV interview. Ibanes admitted he and two other people were drunk and high on illegal drugs when they attacked five members of a family on Wednesday.. Aquino, quoting the explanation of the chemist, said it is possible Ibanes' metabolism could be fast or he took small amounts of shabu which resulted in a negative test. "It's possible the shabu he used was not that concentrated," Aquino said. Aquino said this negative drug test result it will not affect the case against Ibanes. DMS
