Police staff sergeant shot dead in front of Cavite home

Three men shot a police staff sergeant in front of his home in Dasmariñas City, Cavite last December 28.

A report from Calabarzon police identified the victim as Roseman Batao, who was assigned in Tiaong Municipal Police Station.

Batao was fixing his car in front of his house at Barangay Datu Esmael in Dasmarinas around 2:20pm when the suspects alighted from a vehicle and shot him.

Batao died on the spot. He was in Cavite to spend the holidays, a report said.
