October 3, 2020
No witnesses have presented themselves to the police over the killing of Philippine Charity Sweepstakes Office ( PCSO) board secretary Wesley Barayuga last July 30.
''No one has surfaced to say who is the primary suspect,'' said Col. Hector Grijaldo, Mandaluyong police chief. ''But we are looking for evidence and witnesses.''
Barayuga, a former police general, was on his way home when a motorcycle-riding gunman fired at his car, killing him.
Initially, inveestigators were looking at contracts for gambling operations which Barayuga did not approve as a motive. Grijaldo said this has to be backed by evidence. DMS
