June 26, 2018
Puerto Princesa police on Tuesday arrested Pagkakaisa barangay captain Angelito Arriesgado, 50, an alleged high value drug target at the suspect's home.
Joint personnel of the Puerto Princesa city's police drug enforcement unit and Anti-Crime Task Force of the city conducted a search warrant at the suspect’s residence that resulted in confiscation of one heat-sealed transparent plastic sachet containing white crystalline substance believed to be shabu and a caliber 38 pistol with four bullets.
In interviews, Arriesgado denied that he owns the confiscated shabu but admitted he was involved in drugs some eight years ago.
The suspect is under police custody. Documents are being prepared for filing of cases against illegal drugs and firearms and ammunition regulation law. DMS
