QC court issues preliminary injunction vs provincial bus ban along EDSA

A Quezon City court stopped the Land Transportation Franchising and Regulatory Board ( LTFRB) from amending routes of provincial buses.

The decision, issued July 31, also stops the Metropolitan Manila Development Authority ( MMDA) from implementing a dry run on August 7 to prohibit provincial buses to travel along EDSA.

The preliminary injunction was issued by Quezon City Regional Trial Court Branch 223 Presiding Judge Caridad Walse-Leuterio on Wednesday. DMS
