Radio broadcaster killed in Daraga, Albay

A radio broadcaster was killed by unidentified gunmen early dawn Friday in barangay Penafrancia, Daraga, Albay.
Joey Llana, a blocktimer of radio station dwZR in Legazpi City was leaving his home at around 4 am Friday to host his program Metrobanat airing from 5:30-7:00 am
Reports said that Llana was shot 14 times with .45 caliber and 9mm pistols.
Lottie Salarda, media safety officer of the National Union of Journalists of the Philippines, “if proven to be related to his work, his death would be the 12th media killing under President Rodrigo Duterte.”
Undersecretary Joel Sy-Egco, chief of the Presidential Task Force on Media Security (PTFoMS), meanwhile denounced the recent attack against journalists “in the strongest possible terms.”
Egco said he has ordered an immediate investigation and is coordinating with the Bicol regional police. DMS
