Record recoveries once more, but COVID-19 cases going up

Record number of patients have recovered from the coronavirus disease ( COVID-19) but new cases continued piling up,the Department of Health ( DOH) said Tuesday.
There were 301 recoveries, putting the total to 6,552. New cases reached 26,781 with fresh cases reaching 249 and late cases at 115.
There were five deaths, raising the tally top 1,103.
National Capitol Region, which remains under general community quarantine until June 30, topped fresh cases with 128. Other regions came second with 65 followed Central Visayas with 56.
Fresh cases are test results released to patients with the last three days. Late cases are test results given to patients four days or more. DMS
