Riding-in-tandem gunmen kill ex-cop in Manila

A retired policeman was shot dead by a riding in tandem in Manila on Sunday.
Manila Police District spokesperson Supt. Carlo Magno Manuel in a radio interview said that the victim identified as Police Supt. Robert Palisoc was declared dead on arrival after being shot by unknown suspects in Angel Linao Street, Malate.
Initial investigation disclosed that around 9:30 am, Pasiloc was standing outside his residence when shot by two men on a motorcycle.
Manuel said the victim sustained gunshot wound on his back and was brought to Ospital ng Maynila.
According to him, Palisoc is one of the personalities included in the first batch of President Rodrigo Duterte's drug watchlist back in 2016.
He said investigation is ongoing for the arrest of suspects and the motive behind the incident. Ella Dionisio/DMS
