Baguio City – Sagada’s spelunking sites – the Sumaguing and Lumiang Caves -- have been reopened Thursday, two days after it was ordered closed following the death of a 15-year old boy Monday. Sagada tourism officer Robert Pangod said Thursday the local government and elders ordered the caves re-opened. Pangod said the local government and the community, including tourist guides in Sagada, are meeting soonest to institute measures to avoid a repeat. The area’s tourism boom began two years ago after the film “That Thing Called Tadhana” shot at a ridge in Mt. Kiltepan. DMS
