May 8, 2020
The Supreme Court has junked a petition filed by a lawyer seeking to compel President Rodrigo Duterte to disclose his medical records.
SC spokesperson Brian Hosaka said the High Tribunal in its en banc decision junked the petition but added he has not seen the resolution.
“I confirm the denial of the petition, but I have not seen the actual resolution of the Court yet," Hosaka said in a text message to reporters.
Associate Justice Henri Jean Paul Inting authored the resolution, which was adopted during the Court’s virtual en banc session on Friday. DMS
