DOH reports 3, 139 new COVID-19 cases

The Department of Health (DOH) reported 3, 139 new coronavirus disease (COVID-19) cases on Friday even as 15 laboratories were unable to submit data.
Total cases are now at 351, 750 out of which 50, 354 are active. The DOH said that out of the active cases, 84.7 percent are mild, asymptomatic 10.8 percent, critical 3 percent and 1.5 percent severe.
The National Capital Region accounted for 1,003 of the new cases.
Thirty-four persons died from COVID-19, bringing total deaths to 6, 531.
There were 786 persons who overcame COVID-19, raising total recoveries to 294, 865. DMS
